Armand Segaud

Armand Segaud, 1878-1963, was a Cornet member for over 30 years. An engraver, painter, illustrator and bookbinder, Segaud is known best for the fantastic scenes he painted at the Casino in Monte Carlo. He contributed regularly to the Salon of French Artists, and was a distinguished member of its jury. His 22 menu illustrations for the Cornet Society between 1911 and 1948 are among the most dramatic and colorful in the collection. Segaud painted a Pierrot postcard for Wague in 1930.
